Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the provision of guarding, event security, traffic control and related management services ("Services") by H.K.B Protection and Management Limited ("HKB", "we", "us") to any client that engages us ("Client", "you").

By signing a service agreement, purchase order, or otherwise instructing HKB to provide Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms in addition to any specific terms set out in your service agreement.

HKB is a registered company operating as a licensed private security provider in the United Republic of Tanzania. We maintain current registration and licensing required to lawfully provide guarding, event security and traffic control services, and will provide evidence of this status to a Client or authority on reasonable request.

The specific scope, site locations, staffing levels, shift patterns and duration of Services will be set out in a separate service agreement or statement of work agreed in writing between HKB and the Client prior to deployment.

Any variation to the agreed scope — including additional sites, extended hours, or changes to personnel numbers — must be confirmed in writing and may be subject to revised pricing.

The Client agrees to:

• Provide accurate information about the site, event, or premises necessary for HKB to plan and staff Services safely and effectively.
• Provide safe access to premises and reasonable welfare facilities for deployed personnel where Services are performed on Client premises.
• Settle invoices in accordance with the payment terms agreed in the service agreement.
• Notify HKB promptly of any incident, complaint, or safety concern arising during the course of Services.

HKB personnel are trained and supervised in accordance with our internal standards and applicable Tanzanian private security regulations. HKB will investigate and address any reasonable conduct concern raised by a Client regarding assigned personnel, and reserves the right to reassign personnel where necessary to maintain service quality.

Fees for Services are set out in the applicable service agreement or quotation and are payable in accordance with the agreed invoicing schedule.

Late payment may result in suspension of Services following written notice, without prejudice to any other rights available to HKB under the service agreement.

Either party may terminate an ongoing service agreement by providing written notice in accordance with the notice period specified in that agreement. Cancellation of confirmed event security or traffic control coverage within a shorter window than agreed may be subject to a cancellation charge to cover personnel already scheduled or deployed.

HKB will perform Services with reasonable skill and care consistent with industry practice. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under Tanzanian law.

Subject to the above, HKB's liability for any claim arising from the Services is limited to the fees paid for the Services giving rise to that claim, except where a higher limit is agreed in writing in the service agreement.

Both parties agree to keep confidential any non-public information shared in connection with the Services, including site security arrangements, and to use such information solely for the purpose of performing or receiving the Services.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or a service agreement will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tanzania, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
